Ola is very wary of the vets but Natalie with her experience and knowledge has won her round and can manage to exam her without too much trouble. The vets we have seen have always taken time with Rosie and clearly read her notes before arriving if not seen her before. We particularly like Eva as she is really good with Rosie and Bev is,extremely helpful on reception. We had a great experience with Sandbeck as always. We rang for an emergency appointment and were offered one an hour later. All reception and veterinary staff were extremely helpful, friendly and empathetic which made an upsetting experience more calming. We visited the surgery today to collect our puppy’s monthly flea, worm and tick treatment as we were passing. We got her weighed and then I mentioned that she had a little missing fur around her hip area and asked if she needed to see the vet. The answer was ‘better safe than sorry’ and as we are on the monthly payment scheme we could see a vet whenever we wanted at no additional cost to us whatsoever. We had her weighed and anal glands emptied and are hoping that is the cause but if not we can see the vet again. I also called later in the day as I was worried after finding a deer tick on the puppy. We were reassured that as she was in the monthly treatment then she should be absolutely fine. However, we were given symptoms to look out for ‘just incase’.All in all absolutely fantastic service from Sandbeck Vets from every single member of staff we met. Oh and the fact that when you pop in you are made to feel like your puppy/dog/cat/rabbit/guinea pigtortoise etc is the favourite pet that the ladies on reception have seen that day really does bring joy and a smile to our faces. Sitting and watching the receptionists fuss over Nala really does make them feel more like old friends than someone just doing their job.No, for the entire Sandbeck team you are friends first, best friends, and customers second. The care and devotion given to all of our pets has been first class and I cannot recommend them enough. I would also HIGHLY recommend the monthly payment scheme whereby you pay each month and can see a vet whenever you want for reassurance and treatment. You also get extras like vaccinations and flea, worming and tick treatment included which has already more than paid for itself and we’ve only had Nala 6 weeks (although it does feel like forever!) Highly, HIGHLY recommended by Nala the border Collie and her devoted family 🥰
